Is a medical fitness certificate issued online legally valid in Bengaluru?

Online medical fitness certificates carry the same legal standing as an in-clinic certificate under the MoHFW Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020 (Gazette of India GSR 225(E), notified 25 March 2020), which authorises NMC-registered doctors to examine patients and issue medical certificates via telemedicine consultation. Every certificate we issue displays the doctor's full name, qualification, and National Medical Commission registration number, which anyone — an HR team, RTO officer, or admissions office — can independently verify at nmc.org.in. Fitness certificates issued this way are accepted for job joining, pre-employment medical screening, college and university admissions, sports clearance, and Form 1A driving licence purposes by employers, educational institutions, RTOs, and government departments across Karnataka, with no separate attestation required.

How do I receive my fitness certificate?

Once the NMC-registered doctor reviews your submitted health details and approves your fitness assessment, your signed certificate is generated as a PDF and delivered to both your WhatsApp number and registered email address — typically within 30 minutes of approval, and always within the same 8 AM to 10 PM service window. The PDF includes the doctor's full name, NMC registration number, clinic letterhead, examination date, and a formal fitness declaration, in the same format and with the same fields as a certificate obtained after an in-person clinic visit. You can download, print, or forward the PDF directly from WhatsApp or email — no login or account access is required to retrieve it again later, since it also remains available from your dashboard if you registered with an account.

Is the Form 1A certificate accepted at Karnataka RTO (KA-01 to KA-05)?

Yes. Our Form 1A fitness certificates are issued by NMC-registered MBBS/MD doctors in the format accepted by all Regional Transport Offices in Karnataka. Valid for driving licence applications and renewals.
